AJ and Janet Johnson

AJ & Janet Johnson, Joint Vice President

Aj and Janet are excited and honored to be serving as joint Vice President for Amani’s Board of Directors.

AJ grew up in southern California and relocated to El Dorado county upon meeting his lovely wife Janet. AJ enjoys fixing cars, motorcycles, camping, creating art, and exploring nature. AJ has been a licensed mortician for several decades and believes that how he treats a family is the last most important act of kindness you can do.

Janet grew up in El Dorado county and traveled and lived in other parts of the world before settling back in El Dorado county. She earned her MS in Healthcare Administration and is currently a Hospital Unit Administrative Officer for the Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Department at UC Davis Medical Center. Janet enjoys creating art, playing the violin, and spending time with her family and friends.

Together AJ and Janet have two young daughters that are active with Amani’s children’s group and various activities. The Johnson family is excited to serve The Amani Center and the community.
